Rufus is a utility that helps format and create bootable USB flash drives, such as USB keys/pendrives, memory sticks, etc.
It can be especially useful for cases where:
- you need to create USB installation media from bootable ISOs (Windows, Linux, UEFI, etc.)
- if you need to work on a system that doesn’t have an OS installed.
- And you need to flash a BIOS or other firmware from DOS
- If you want to run a low-level utility.
How to make pendrive bootable using Rufus:-
1.At first you need to download rufus
then open the programme you have downloaded from here
as show on the image below:-
2.Then pop up will come choose yes, you will shown windows as like image below:-
3.Then select your iso file which you have downloaded from somewhere to make usb bootable and click open.
4.Then click on start before it if your usb have important data then you should copy it to another drive because it will formate your usb.
5.Now select ok then it will formate your usb and take some times to complete process, dont shutdown or remove your usb during this process.it will take 2-6 min as per your pc speed or performance.
6.And when again start is shown after that process you can close this programme and remove your usb device.
